FERRIES TO HIIUMAA (DAGÖ) (Rohuküla - Heltermaa - Rohuküla)
Ferry connection between mainland and Hiiumaa is organized by company Saaremaa Laevakompanii.

The crossing from the mainland over the Väinameri and through Rukkirahu and Heltermaa channels is 22 km long and takes about 90 minutes. Two big ferries has for passengers cafes, shops and so one.

The Rohuküla harbour is approximately 100 km from Tallinn and 10 km from Haapsalu. The Heltermaa harbour is 24 km from Kärdla.

FERRIES TO SAAREMAA (ÖSEL) (Virtsu - Kuivastu - Virtsu)
Ferry connection between mainland and Saaremaa is organized by company Saaremaa Laevakompanii.
The way to Saaremaa from the mainland goes over Suur väin (Great Strait) from Virtsu to the Kuivastu Harbour on the Muhu Island. Saaremaa and Muhu are connected by the dam of Väike väin (Small Strait).

The distance between Virtsu and Kuivastu is 7 km and takes 30 minutes. 78 km separates Kuviastu from Kuressaare.
