Põõsaspea – Rooslepa – Linnamäe (30 km

Leaving Dirhami, go along the coastline until you reach Rooslepa Village where Rooslepa graveyard with a chapel and a bell tower are worth looking at. Rooslepa Chapel is one of the three churches that was built in 1830ies and was restored in its initial form in 2006. Near Rooslepa there is a beautiful sandy beach of Ebliku and Roosta Holiday Village which offers you everything you need for a good rest. When you go on, you will pass the 18th century manor house of Riguldi and the old fishermen village of Luks, where the view to the open sea is breathtaking, and finally you arrive at Aulepa Village.

From here, at the crossroads, take the road towards Sutlepa and Linnamäe.

If you have spare time, it is worth going to Pürksi where the most interesting sight is Noarootsi St Catherine’s Church. In the Middle Ages this building with its thick walls of limestone and boulders was used as a fortress. The Swedish Royal Family has visited the church. Across the road from the church there stands the 17th century pastorate, the oldest wooden building in Läänemaa.

Going still further on you arrive at Saare Village where there are two interesting places to visit – Saare Manor and the Lyckholm Museum. The manor was built in the 18-19th centuries and has been restored by Baron Gustav Friedrich von Rosen. The museum exhibits the whole history of the village and was opened in the stable of the manor. All the displayed items have been presented by the local people. In the village by the Sutlepa Sea you can find a viewing platform, a fire place, a parking lot with a toilet and camping huts made of reeds. The distance from Aulepa crossroads to Saare Village is about 12 kilometres.

Just before Linnamäe there is the biggest karst area in Läänemaa, Salajõe karst area where the river disappears into karst funnels. In springtime when it is flooding, the enormous area covered with water reaches as far as the road. By the road to Haapsalu there stands the old Linnamäe substation built in 1927.
