The biggest number of shopping malls and stores are located in the heart of haapsalu - on the Posti street and near the bus station. The market of the city is on Jaama street, but smaller market is also in Lihula town.

The shopping malls in the city are open on seven days a week until the late hours of the evening. Smaller stores are generally open from Monday to Friday until 6 or 7 pm, on Saturday until 3 or 4 pm and closed on Sunday.
